'never again during the remainder of his journey to San Francisco would he equal or surpass this day's eighty-eight-mile effort. furthermore, never again on the trip would he encounter roads as fine as those he met in the Cornhusker state. riding through Wyoming and every state or territory thereafter, Nellis would long for the "excellent paths" of Nebraska.' - An American Cycling Odyssey, 1887

I'd love to find bike magazines that cater to the non-sporty side of cycling. Currently I subscribe to Momentum and sometimes read Urban Velo. The couple you mention sound like they're along the same line. Are there any others you recommend checking out?
cyclesport and velonews are purely racing mags, not culture/lifestyle. i still like to follow the sport so that's why i still read those. but i would like to subscribe to momentum and urban velo and the like.
