which one to take to NYC?

of her three bikes, i think julie will initially take her nishiki to handle the mean streets of the big city.

precious cargo

i helped my friend julie move today. her favorite bike is her robin-egg blue steed that her dad ben built for her last july. good luck in NYC julie, we'll see you for upcoming BFF and other bicycle fun there in the big apple!

west Denton road

with new houses right next door, this old farm is probably next to go. urban sprawl... expand, live farther out, drive more... doesn't sound good.

p-stop

pit stop in Denton.

someone couldn't drive 55?

finally some nice weather... so i put in some road miles on the ss. i was heading out on west van dorn and noticed someone flipped this speed limit sign upside down (or perhaps one of the bolts broke).

i don't mind the snow so much, but the bitter cold is bumming me out bigtime.

bizarre unicycle

i went to the sheldon for the clean part series tonight. while i was there i finally got to see the architect's brother. all the images are totally bizarre and deeply thought provoking. i was especially fascinated with this piece, 'edison's light'. the protagonist chases a storm while riding a unicycle contraption in an attempt to capture electricity. will these eerie glimpses of an earth, post environmental apocalypse, be our fate?
