that's not going anywhere



like in nyc and other places, lincoln too has it's share of unnecessarily vulnerable bikes. someone has put some time and cash into converting this old miyata to a fixie, but yet when it comes to locking it up overnight on campus they really go all out with security. it's just one or two spins with a crescent wrench away from finding a new owner.

I saw this bike elsewhere on campus today locked up exactly the same way. I left him a nasty note; hopefully he'll take the hint and lock his bike down before someone decides they want it more than him...

Oh no it's very safe.

The perp will spend hours debating if it's more work to remove the front wheel or cut the cable.

That's the trick to security: Confuse them.
