will work for buffalo meat

lindsey asked me to work on her bike, 'and i'll treat you to a buffalo burger at merle's.' she said. heck yeah, sounds good to me! i haven't been out to merle's in a long time anyway, so after cleaning up her bike we set off through downtown where we passed the meat fest. then on westward out of lincoln we went, riding by frontier harley and then we saw this really neat looking old barn with a partially collapsed roof. it was huge, with five or six cupolas (or ventilators). i wonder what the story is behind it? i've heard that rather than tear down grandpa's old barn a famer will let it fall down on it's own, or a new land owner might not be sure what to do with it. anyway, a few miles on and we were at merle's, with it's homey interior and unique bathroom decor. the burgers, fries, and onion rings were pretty good.

I have to admit I'm completely obsessed with pink bar tape. I love your friend's bike!

so did you go straight out west O? how is that does it get pretty narrow and treacherous or are the drivers pretty cool. I am willing to throw myself into a certain measure of danger for the right bar burger and I am thinking a buffalo bar burger could be the one.

adrian, merle's is in emerald, just 2-3 miles west on O st.

regina, yep we just went out on O st. you stay on the sidewalk till d'leons and the overpass, then there is a shoulder the rest of the way except for where it narrows at the RR bridge by playmoor ballroom. there wasn't very much traffic at all after 7 or so.
