'never again during the remainder of his journey to San Francisco would he equal or surpass this day's eighty-eight-mile effort. furthermore, never again on the trip would he encounter roads as fine as those he met in the Cornhusker state. riding through Wyoming and every state or territory thereafter, Nellis would long for the "excellent paths" of Nebraska.' - An American Cycling Odyssey, 1887

you can finally get the bike you really want! oh, i'm sure you've seen this 10 months ago, but when i saw it i thought of you, ha ha.
This may sound weird because I've never met you and never commented here before, but I think I saw you today. You (I think it was you?) said "hi!" as you passed me and a friend jogging at the Jamaica Trail where it intersects at S. 14th St. After you passed, I said to my running partner, "That was strange, I've never met that guy before, but I read his blog all the time. His name is Conrad and he writes about bikes." The blogosphere has made this small world even smaller. :)
taura, you are so funny. :-\
hi avabee, i ride down that way from time to time but i wasn't riding there sunday, so it probably was my doppelgänger that you saw. what kind of bike was he riding?
Eeesh!
