couples

i ran into jp and franky at the shop as they were testing out the carrying capacity of the rack on the new kona ute.



the couples were out on their bikes today. i ran into nick and shireen on my way to get some coffee. i really like shireen's late 70's vintage schwinn, it's a pretty metallic caramel brown color.

i've been a fan of this guy's photos for a while now. nabiis and his crew are doing some cool street art/graffiti over in taiwan and japan.

bikes, wind, and yoga

the headwind on the way back sucked big time, but lindsey did fine. 84 miles total.


both of us were pretty hungry when we got to platte. after a delicious lunch we lounged on the grass for a bit. i snoozed while lindsey did some yoga.


a long day in the saddle and you can't leave your head unprotected from the sun. as most of you know, i'm oldschool, so i bestowed upon lindsey my '98 vintage mapei hat. even though i assured her that it's a cool cap (made famous ofcourse by ballerini in P-R that year) she still wasn't sure she looked good in it. she was constantly checking her hair at every stop.

i got up a bit too late to make the bacon ride, but wanted to ride out to platte anyways. i called up lindsey, and since she's doing BRAN in two weeks she was eager to get some serious miles in. we had a tailwind on the way out and got to elmwood pretty quick. we ran into cornbread and the crew who were on their way back, their bellies full of bacon i'm sure.

i've been a lazy ass lately, thankfully i have friends who call me up and get me out for some miles. uh... nice barwrap and jersey color coordinating lindsey. i'm not too sure that the breakfast at tiffany's sunglasses are the best for cycling, but fashion comes first.

ups left a package on my front steps. i guess it pays to have 'connections' ;) thanks melissa!

angel, taura, and james hanging at the shop. the MWC is four years old today. lots of people were stopping in to say happy fourth anniversary to nate and eric. a month after nate opened in 2004 i started this blog. it was because cvo had created the folks from lincoln one and that is what started all of us blogging. four years seems like yesterday.
