Answering to your question about Brazil's soccer team, I think that the problem was the following:
THEY THOUGHT THEY WOULD BE THE CHAMPIONS BEFORE THE WORLD CUP STARTED. THEY THOUGHT THEY COULD WIN ANY MATCH ANY TIME THEY WANTED...
