'never again during the remainder of his journey to San Francisco would he equal or surpass this day's eighty-eight-mile effort. furthermore, never again on the trip would he encounter roads as fine as those he met in the Cornhusker state. riding through Wyoming and every state or territory thereafter, Nellis would long for the "excellent paths" of Nebraska.' - An American Cycling Odyssey, 1887

Conrad: Nice re-tape on the bars. I actually do a lot better with cloth tape, so that's my story.
Ben
yo Ben,
i prefer cloth too, but I wrap better with cork or synthetic.
how do you like the looks of my new san jose?? i'm glad i spent a little more for the pre-aged brooks.. it matches the brown cloth tape perfectly (ep at the monkeywrench wrapped the bars for me).
C_C: I like it a lot. Thought about getting one myself, but there are some fork issues...they cut 'em off too short at the factory for us old "Rivendell" guys.
