From the news: An Andean spectacled bear called Juan plays with a bicycle after escaping from his enclosure in the Berlin zoo, August 29, 2004. The bear roamed around a children's playground before being caught by zookeepers. Staff shot anaesthetic darts at the 110 kilo (242 lb) bear to knock him out. Spectacled bears are the only bear species found in South America. They inhabit the mountainous regions of Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Panama, Peru and Venezuela.
