in a basement full of bikes

earlier i went to see factotum, based on the life of none other than Bukowski. i thought it was a good flick. filmed in Minneapolis and St. Paul, MN, in this scene our protaganist Chinaski is getting fired from yet another job, this time at a bicycle parts supplier. the scene reminded me of the infamous basement of one on one.

the regular tuesday night mwc ride was transformed into a beermuda triangle in costumes. dolly showed up... and a circa '93 poser calling himself dweebo dang dang. check out those vintage swobo shorts.

the coolest costume i've seen yet this halloween: jenna as the miller high life girl. she made it all herself.

i put on my bat ears and headed on over to a party. there were all types of shenanigans going on. guys in dresses riding bikes, thats so overdone these days isn't it?

went up north to branched oak for some laps. on the way i stopped for coffee at the bait shop, and a cute grey kitty came by. he wouldn't come close enough for me pet him though.

on my way back on the jamaica i had to stop at one of the bridges for a moment to wait for an odd looking kitty cat to leave the bridge.

tuesday night ride: lights? check... duct tape over shoe vents? check...

james came into the shop after the game, he was pretty bummed out. the husks lost a close one, but james wins in my book for wearing that outfit in the cold temps for 3+ hours.
