this is my downstairs neighbor's cat. he hangs out in the window most of the time and seems real friendly. but when he is let outside... he's one elusive panther. he won't let anyone pet him, let alone get near him. but i'll catch him one of these days.

clark let me take the new snyper for a spin. it's pretty sweet. i have no skills when it comes to getting radical, so i've always had the rule 'keep both wheels on the ground'. but a bike like this, man it makes you feel like you can fly over anything. but i'll leave that for the dudes with skills. i'd probably kiss a tree @ 30mph riding this thing in the rough stuff.

things on a stick

rode out to the state fair with tasha (aka dali trauma) and taura (aka skelataura). a storm blew through and we rode home in the rain, but it was worth it... joan jett rocked it. we also checked out the budweiser clydesdales and various things on a stick.

i stopped in malcom on my way back into town. cases of coors light were $15.99, i opted for a coke instead.

i ended up doing my own tnmwr. i went out of town on north 7th street for some gravel action.

celestina sits out in the rain while i get my hair cut. i better pull the seatpost and check for rust, it's been a while.

i was out doing a few laps at pioneer's and stopped to say hello to the buffalo.

baby blue or teal?

i was helping my friend taura do some dress shopping. we had an argument over what color was the dress in the window. she said baby blue and i said teal. but now i think it's actually more of a light turquoise or aqua. it also looks pretty close to bianchi blue.

20mph

coming in from bennet just before dark. i was really going about 30+mph all the way but i had to slow down to take this pic.. uh huh. (if you believe that i have a car to sell you). i almost didn't go for a ride tonight. i was inside worshipping the ac, but i changed my mind and headed south through the roca rollers in the 99 degree heat. it wasn't too bad, and toward the end the clouds came in and it cooled off just a bit.

hangover cure

had some tequila and a number of negro modelos last night, but i got my ass up and headed out for a ride anyways.

the peeps met up at the usual spot friday night for drinks, pizza, and rides on cvo's tandem.

centurion

colin has a new fixie built up. it's the old centurion frame that has been floating around lincoln for awhile. damon gave him a framed vintage ad to go with it. though i'm sure the turn-of-the-century centurions made in england aren't related to the japanese ones from the 70's and 80's, it's still a cool added touch.

ladies' man

monday night easy ride. after cruising through the roca rollers the ladies felt like riding on limestone so they got on the jamaica trail for the last few miles back into town. even though i hate how quickly the white dust gets all over the bike (and wreaks havoc on a drivetrain) i followed, cause i always follow the ladies. ;)

hipsters and mormons

some hipster girls were walking their bikes on the corner. one said 'anyone want to buy a bike for $5?'

you usually don't see more than two, but tonight there must have been some special gathering.
